iPhone 5s and 5C

So what does everyone think of the new 5S and 5C? It looks like there isn’t much difference from the older iPhone 5. With the addition of fingerprint recognition the layout and design looks the same. IOS 7 is available even for the 4 and 4s to give it the same look and feel as the newer models. I am curious to see the soon to be released iPad Air and Mini 2. We generally see the next generation hardware in the iPad releases so is it possible that Apple is going to release a super slim phone? That would be interesting to see in the future.

It would be great if their was a super light kernel, low battery use, low power LCD ultra thin Apple phone. I am seeing a slick design almost like an iPod Touch 4th Gen but with the newest hardware. Would be pretty cool!

iPad – Apple iPad Review

Today, we are taking a look at the incredibly popular Apple iPad, which starts at $500 dollars. If you’re looking for a display of the iPads actual features, you can visit the Apple iPad site directly for a comprehensive view of the features and options. This article is purely a review, detailing what’s good and what isn’t.

With that said, the Apple iPad is an amazing machine. It features a generously large touch screen that makes everything about accessing your files a revolutionary affair. Scrolling through tons of picture libraries is incredibly easy and the speed of the device is fast enough to be deemed impressive.

New graphical features make reading an online book and multi-page sections of text an entirely different experience. It looks and behaves just like a real book. The slower you use your fingers to turn the pages, the slower they turn.

The sound loudness and quality is very good, like you would expect from a high end machine. People who purchase the Apple iPad are advised to do the device justice by purchasing a set of headphones that can really expose your ears to the sound quality it’s capable of producing.

This machine performs, looks and is similar to most other Apple machines. The software used is the iPhone OS which is also specific to the Apple family of electronics. What we meant to say, is it’s simply beautiful. The super large touch screen displays everything exactly the way Apple dreamed it to be. In a word, the graphical display is a version of perfection.

The price is fair for such a graphically rich and full featured item. You can hook up separate additional components to the iPad and make it just the way you want it to be. Keyboard, Web cam, USB hubs, everything! This expands the capability of the iPad to even be used as a home computer.

Problems and Complaints:

No flash support. This means some of your favorite sites on the Web will be disabled. Not all of them but a great many sites that use imbedded Flash content won’t be able to be viewed. Flash is very resource intensive and Apple opted not to include it for this reason alone. The iPad simply wouldn’t be able to perform at such high levels of performance with Flash installed.

Overall Opinion:

Our overall opinion of iPad is excellent. Apple has outdone itself in terms of revolutionary touch screen technology and most people are happy with their machine. If you love pictures, e-books and other graphical content, a machine with such a large screen as the iPad will be perfect for you.

Ipod Nano 5G Review

Listen to music, look at photos, watch videos, listen to podcasts, listen to the radio and use a variety of business applications to improve your daily life. Things like alarms, calendars, clocks, contacts, fitness, games, notes, a stop watch and voice memos make being able to simplify your life a whole lot easier. It’s a small device, much smaller than the iPad or the iPhone but still offers a high quality display in which to watch video. The screen is bigger than previous versions of the Nano, which is now 2.2 inches total, which is a real plus.

Video is on par with the iPod iPhone 3GS, not better or worse but about the same quality. There are 15 different effects you can add to the video after you’re done recording. There is not any motion blur when recording fast moving video and the frame rate stays pretty consistent. Nice, crisp, sharp video capture at 640 X480 resolution and up to 30 frames per second with AAC. That’s what the iPod Nano has to offer.

It features a built in radio with large and attractive numbers to view the station you’re listening to. The iPod Nano is full of additional features like these and using the device is truly a lot of fun.

There is even a built in pedometer that lets you track the amount of steps you take on an exercise regimen. This can be useful for people who go on lengthy walks or are counting calories.

You can’t take any still pictures with this model, you simply have to do without. However, it’s the video camera that really stands out and makes the iPod Nano worth it. With the microphone, there is a little bit of wind noise but you’re going to have that with any microphone without a cloth cover.

The Apple iPod Nano 5G is built to endure constant abuse. It is made of strengthened aluminum that just doesn’t quit. You can throw it on the ground, drop it, tap it around and it still functions perfectly.

Overall, they put a lot of time into making improvements from previous versions of the iPod Nano and you can expect future versions to be very similar, including minor improvements. So, we recommend this iPod Nano 5G for anyone who needs a durable and thoroughly abusable electronic playback device that they can take with them anywhere.

Apple iPod Touch – The MP3 Marvel with a Touch Screen

Apple iPod Touch is the third version of iPod by Apple. The digital player is the king in the market with its portable design and a flash memory good enough to give its competitors reasons to envy. A whole new set of features comes with the Touch which makes it an improvement over the already excellent product. Features like voice control, faster processor, graphic enhancement and higher capacity makes it the best in the market. Touch can boast of becoming the world’s most featured packed media player with amazing portability.

The device is liked by people for its web browser and e-mail support while many still love it for its media player qualities giving them great old fashioned video and music playback. Web browser support is due to the integration of wi-fi module into the hardware. The 1st and 2nd generation Apple iPod Touch flaunts 8GB, 16 or 32GB and the newer 3rd generation supports 64GB capacities. It is an amazing combination of video and music player, Podcast support, photo viewer, a safari web browser and a great e–mail device. The device can be integrated well with iTunes Store for downloads of music and video. The video playback features iTunes rentals and YouTube player. The e-mail reader is compatible with Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Exchange and Mobile Me. It has extensive battery life due to the lithium battery which can deliver hours of portable fun.

The Apple iPod Touch has pushed the speed barrier to the limit when it comes to using the media player for gaming. The 50% increase in the processor power and a whole new graphic processing feature with Open GL has dramatically increased the load time and games responsiveness. Touch lets you browse, purchase and download music from iTunes Wi-Fi store and for that you will have to get a Wi-Fi internet connectivity to search for your favorite artist, album or any choice of songs from the music catalog of iTunes. After you download the content the audio or video can be transferred to your computer’s iTunes music library whenever you sync it next time.

The fully equipped iPhone 3GS multimedia device has gained fanfare around the world as the select device mobile multimedia and Smartphone enthusiast. The new iPhone 3GS is an improvement over the previous 3G generation model and includes long awaited features by the iPhone 3Gpopulation. A faster onboard processor allows videos and web surfing to reach optimal performance. A longer lasting iPhone 3GS battery is built into this model.  The iPhone LCD Touch Screen is bright and well responsive. Applications from the App store can now load quicker utilizing the more powerful processing power.  The increase in speed also helps such applications as e-mail to load and be viewable faster, as well as allowing for 3D animation in its graphics to be displayed clearer and faster utilizing AT&T 3G network. It is noted that the 3GS is twice as fast as its predecessor the iPhone 3G.

Additional features include the capability to take pictures a and record video through the built in camera. This is a major improvement for consumers as the 2G model did not have this ability and could not record video through its camera. There is a new 3-megapixel built in camera located on the backside that allows you to take higher resolution shots. The autofocus feature enables quick  focus of subjects and the new built in picture-tap mode allows consumers to tap the screen on subjects focus them. iPod Nano 2nd Generation – Tiny MP3 player in Vivid Colors

The 2nd Generation or 2G iPod Nano that was released in 2006 was a nice improvement over the 1st Generation Nano. With Apple’s new technology they reinvented the Nano using a new logic board layout, new exterior design, new color additions, and by relocating the headphone jack to the bottom next to the dock connector. The new design is sleek and offers a nice feel in your hands. The available colors for the 2G Nano are Silver, Pink, a powder Blue, a bright Green, and a flat Black. The exterior casing looks to be some type of aluminum or alloy that is coated with its color to give a nice metallic but flat color finish.

The second (2G) generation Nano offered three sizes that came in 2, 4, or 8Gb. The 8GB model was by far a nice improvement over the 4GB maximum size of the 1st Generation Nano. 8GB meant you could store double the music and possibly put a few thousand songs on the iPod Nano.

Apple also offered a special release edition of a red version. This model was only available in two sizes both the 4GB and 8Gb. It was developed in an effort of charity on Apple’s behalf. A percentage of the profits were donated to the Global Fund. It was a sincere gesture on Apple’s part to help fight Aids in Africa.

As far as functions are concerned not much has changed but a few additions were made to enhance the interface on the iPod Nano. They added a search feature on the Music screen. The search screen allows you to search by letter through your library stored on your iPod Nano.  It is an intelligent search feature and goes beyond this by helping to find the correct music by author, track or album name.

Physically the Clickwheel on the iPod nano 2nd Generation is indented for a more rounded feel on your finger when you are using it. Some users have reported longer sync times with this version for some reason. Perhaps with the additional added features organizing the music takes more time with this model.

Overall it is a nice model that is light and appealing to the eye. It has no moving parts internally using a flash based memory for storage so doing activities such as biking, running, or hiking can be done without risk of ruining any of your data as easily. The iPod nano battery lasts a long time and the LCD is bright and functional

iPod Touch 3G – Third Generation 8, 32, and 64GB Review

The new iPod Touch 3rd Generation is the latest in Apple’s lineup of touch screen devices. The new iPod Touch was released in Sept 2009 in the form of 8, 16, and 32GB models. The 8GB model although labeled as a 3rd generation iPod Touch still uses the same internal hardware. The 8GB model uses software to achieve similar functionality to that of the 32 and 64GB models. The 32 and 64GB iPod Touch models boast a new hardware design. The external design of all three models remains unchanged over 2nd generation iPod Touch models. This model comes standard with the Apple dock connector and 3.5mm headphone jack located on the bottom which is the same as the first and second generation iPod Touch models.

The new iPod Touch like its predecessor has a 3.5” LCD with touch screen functionality. Features include the ability to have voice control, graphics enhancements over previous versions, improved accessibility, higher capacity with 32 and 64GB models available, and a faster processor in the 32 and 64GB models. Although there is a host of new features and enhancements on the new 3G iPod Touch it is still lacking the ability to take photos and videos through the unit itself.

Other features of the iPod Touch model line include;  a high quality music player, podcast support, video playback ability, a web browser using Safari, photo viewer, integrated iTunes store for video and music download capability through the iPod Touch Wi-Fi connection, e-mail, and a host of applications standard and available as third party downloads through the app store.

The 3rd Generation iPod Touch also has the ability to utilize the extended benefits of the Genius selections. Genius allows for the Touch to create 25 song playlist recommendations based on your current musical selections that match the genre of the music you listen to.

Synching is obtained much like any other iPod or iPod Touch. Users can synch their existing libraries onto the Touch via iTunes or can also sync  their music and videos that they purchased or obtained through the device itself into their iTunes library creating a seamless integration between the two.

The 3G iPod Touch battery looks to be the same in respect to size and playback ability from previous versions. Overall the new Touch incorporates a faster processor and some size increases that make it a formidable contender with some hard drive based mp3 players.
